Epson ET-8550 Roll Paper

Is anyone using 8550 with roll paper?
If so, is it working properly

Hello, roll paper printing is an experimental feature - Epson does not officially support this for desktop printers like the ET-8550.

Roll paper printing with the Epson ET-8550 has been tested during driver development. It worked within the usual limitations:

• there is a gap between consecutive prints due to the print head layout (interleaved colors)

• end of roll is not detected

• there is no way to unload roll paper except cutting behind the printer and feeding through

• according to customer reports, paper roll may be sporadically ejected after some prints
