PrintFab 3 beta for Mac available with new Composer layout software

PrintFab for Mac 3 soon comes with the layout and RIP software PrintFab Composer. A beta version for Mac with the new PrintFab Composer is already available for download.

With the new Composer, PrintFab is now a fully-fledged RIP - load photos and PDF documents directly into PrintFab, determine the print position simply with the mouse, by numerical input or via the layout wizard.

Other changes:

• Hotfolder (PrintFab Pro only)

• screen printing: accurate halftone screen, specify angle and LPI in 0.1 degree / inches (PrintFab Pro XL only)

• DTF printing mode with white ink on selected printers (PrintFab Pro XL only)

And how to get the Linux 3.0 beta?

It is summer time. So i have extra time to try it and experiment with my P5300 on the P900 RIP drivers. To get get good ‘color managed’ photo prints.

Further i assume that that the Mac driver is a universal binary!

Hello roncromberge,

the Linux beta is now officially available as an option on the normal download page. The package is still called TurboPrint 2.90-beta.

PrintFab for Mac is a universal binary, correct.
