traansparent paper
Hello,
is there a print profile compatible with inkjet transparent paper?
(see attachment)
I would like to print BW and use the transparent for cyanotype.

Re: New system disk
I decided to do it all over to do things properly. Let's take the Canson Baryta Photographique for example. New profile, FineArt, Gloss off, etc, now it's time to import color data, correct? I tried one pfprofile and one icc. Each one gives me an error such as: - warning profile id doesn't match Par...

Re: New system disk
no, I cannot see the profiles in Turboprint Control, even if they are in the /usr/share/turboprint/profiles folder.

Re: New system disk
Hi Zedonet, thanks for your reply. I had already scrolled the forum for similar issues, and had already followed your steps, however, what I am missing, is my papers (Media Type) when I go on to print from Gimp. Of course I could add them manually again as I did the first time, but may I say that th...

New system disk
Hello All, I replaced my system disk because / was too small, and I copied over the /usr/share/turboprint/profiles that were on the old one, however, I don't see them in the Profiles section of the Turboprint Control Center, and of course I cannot select the paper profiles I had custom made from Zed...

Re: BW print color cast
Yes, the sliders got rid of the cast, even if I forgot to set Gray Photo.
So what is the use of Gray Photo?
Is there a way to save the settings?
Switching back and forth from color to BW would be easier.

BW print color cast
Hello All, I know it has been debated before, but I was unable to sort out the problem. I did not experience this color cast before, and it's not my first BW print, but now I have a slight magenta cast on the print. The printer is a Canon Pixma-Pro 10s, paper Canson Rag Photographique, Gloss Auto, Q...

Re: how to tweak colors
Hello and thanks for your support, yes, it looks like I was too conservative in applying the corrections. Ok for the check-box missing. In another post on the forum I read that RGB/sRGB profiles are not needed, given that they are installed by default. So everything is clear, now... for the moment. ...

Re: how to tweak colors
One more thing, in my "Profiles" Tab, at Color spaces I have only CMYK, no RGB/Generic,or RGB/sRGB.
This looks weird.. but I do not know where to find them on my Ubuntu 20.04.

Re: how to tweak colors
On the PDF manual for TP, page 40, Individual Color Correction, says: "With the option "use individual color correction" you can ENABLE or DISABLE these controls". I should find a checkbox here, I guess, but there isn't one. I wonder if my setting just disables individual color c...
