TurboPrint & PrintFab

Hi,
First of all, thank you for our very good product !

The printing process is so much accurate with Printfab instead of the canon integrated driver, it's just incredible (and shocking for me).

I'm using a simple Canon TS8350 on a Mac OS with the latest version with a PrintFAB home 2.98-2 version.

I have 2 questions:
1) I can't print borderless, is this a limitation of the product or do i using it badly ? (with the integrated driver it's working, but the color management is so bad i dont' want to use it...)

2) I just bought some fine-part paper, a sample of Hahnemühle paper which I really like. I just realised that these Media type are not included in the driver. How can I integrate them or where can I find them?
I have the ICC profile of the paper only, but this will not help for the printing.
The papers are the following:
- FineArt Peal 285 g
- Photo Rag Satin 310 g
- Photo Rag Baryta 315 g
- Photo Rag Pearl 320 g
- FineARt Baryta 325 g
- Baryta FB 350 g

If it's not possible to have the exact profil which one should I use preferrably ?
Here is the current included list:
- Canon: Photo paper plus glossy, matte photo paper, photo paper pro, glossy photo paper, highrespaper hr101, photopaperpro platinum, fineart premium matte
- Hahnemuehle: Fineart Bamboo, Canvas Daguerre
- Photo paper plus semigloss

PrintFab supports borderless printing, simply select a borderless size like "4x6 borderless". However, there is a difference between PrintFab and the original Canon driver:
With PrintFab, the borderless size is slightly larger (4x6 + overprint margin), so you have to scale up your artwork in the application, e.g. increase the print size in PhotoShop

The recommended way is to create custom color profiles using the PrintFab profile creation service which is explained in the PrintFab manual, chapter 5, page 13, "Printer Profile Management".

A good compromise is to select a similar PrintFab media type. All the Hahnemühle papers you listed are photographic fineart papers (pearl/satin/baryta) and you can get good results with the PrintFab media setting "Canon PhotoPaperPro Platinum".

Finally, it may work to use the ICC profiles that are available from Hahnemühle:

- Open PrintFab Toolbox -> button "Open toolbox for selected printer" -> button "Manage Color Profiles"
- Add a new profile entry with media type "Glossy/Semiglossy" paper and the highest print quality and ink saturation limit setting = "300"
- Press the button "Import color data..." and select the ICC profile

Using ICC profiles from the paper manufacturer only works for certain printers where PrintFab has exactly the same base settings as the Canon driver (ink calibration curves etc.), if this is not the case colors will look completely wrong. I am not 100% sure if it works for the TS8350 printer.
