As said in the title:

I have Canon Pixma MX330. I have it installed in Ubuntu Linux Computer BUT only the printer works. MX 330 is multi-functioning machine and I am desperately looking for the scanning drivers.


Whenever I go to open office and click print, the printer gets to work and starts printing. EVERYTIME, I put a paper in the scanner of MX330, absolutely nothing happens on the screen of my computer. I do not see the scanned paper on the computer. The scanning does not work.

How can I get my scan work?
Please help me, I am desperate looking for an answer.

TurboPrint is only a printer driver, it does not support the scanner part of multifunction devices.

http://www.sane-project.org might offer a scanner driver in the future - currently I only see the "Canon MX310" supported.
