Text is printed 75mm too HIGH on printable CDs with OpenOffice CD template.
Both CD and A4 page sizes give same results.
No problem with previous version of Turboprint or in WnXP.
FYI: Ubuntu 8.10
GIMP 2.6
OpenOffice 2.4
Hope you can help - grrr: 4 ruined cds so far !

Hello,
what is your previous and current TurboPrint version?
There is a new template for OpenOffice in TurboPrint 2.x that does not depend on the printer model (page size 14x14cm with 1cm margins).
This new template must be used with page size "CD/DVD" (not A4).
If alignment is still incorrect (shouldn't be more than 1-2mm), this can be corrected in TurboPrint Control Center, button "Sizes", format CD/DVD, fields "offset left" / "offset top".

PS: To make position test prints, you could create an image with crosshairs at the center and print it on an old CD (data side). If the position is incorrect you can wipe off the crosshairs and reuse the CD for the next test.

Thanks for the feedback - no luck with changing top margin.
A printer using the default Gutenprint driver worked fine, so I suspect a faulty install with version 2.06-2. So I've uninstalled this & installed the latest version from your web site 2.08-1 and now it's working perfectly!
Kind regards.
