I just installed Turboprint with a recent newly installed distribution of Kubuntu, so I can use my Canon Pixma iP6210D connected via USB. Turboprint knows the ink levels, and can tell if I unplug it, but refuses to print any document including any test page - giving no message when asked to print anything.
I have tried adding the printer in different ways, both USB and TSP URI settings, as well as manually trying TUSB under the 'other' options as I saw this somewhere and thought it might work. This last option told me it was 'processing' but nothing actually happened. The USB port works fine with other devices.
So what am I doing wrong ?
Further to this, I just got the Toolbox options of Nozzle Check and Align Print Head to produce something - all looks great - this is regular USB URI connection. So why does no test page print and why nothing else...?
can you please post the log file /var/log/turboprint/print.log after trying to print (section for last print job starting from "### New print job" is sufficient).
