Hi,
In the manual, section "8.4 Creating ICC color profiles with a spectrophotometer", subsection "Using the profile/Color management in PrintFab (recommended)" it states:
"In the Photoshop print dialog, select "Photoshop Manages Colors". As "Printer
Profile", choose the document profile - this means that Photoshop doesn't
perform printer color management"
then is says, in the color tab:
"Color Space - select the color space of the document to be printed"
Firstly, you can't do that any more in Photoshop. Photoshop wont let you use in input profile as an output profile and secondly, elsewhere in the forums it is stated to use whatever output profile you wish in photoshop - and use the same setting in the color space box in the color tab in printfab.
I think the manual is incorrect, or am I missing something?

When printing the color chart, it is essential that color management is turned off. Please follow the instructions from chapter 8.4. A warning will appear, you can dismiss it by clicking on "Cancel".
You can find a complete description of profiling with your own spectrophotometer in the following forum thread:

If you print later with the ICC profile, it is correct that you should use the same setting in Photoshop and in the PrintFab printing preferences. You can use any color space, but for best results you should use the document color profile of the image that you are currently printing.
