I am trying out TurboPrint to do some photo printing on our ET-2720 from my Manjaro system (TurboPrint 2.55.1-1 from the AUR repository on Manjaro)
I have the Epson Premium Glossy 4x6 photo paper (not the borderless one with the perforated edges, just the regular one) and have it selected in the printer configuration, but everything I print is coming out misaligned... slightly overlapping the border on one (4") side and a significant distance from it on the other.
Also of note, the printer does not recognize the paper type sent to it by TurboPrint, and I have to tell it to print anyway.
I downloaded the trial version of PrintFab on my Windows 11 system and the alignment issue there is exactly the same, though the printer recognizes the paper type from PrintFab.
Alignment problem with ET-2720
Re: Alignment problem with ET-2720
I'm still looking for help with this. I will happily purchase a license if I can get it to print properly.
Re: Alignment problem with ET-2720
Hello, I am sorry for the delay. Two questions
- Which one of the 4" sides overlaps - the one that is printed first?
- How large is the white gap?
- What is your current "borderless expand" setting (there are five steps, the default is in the middle)?
And you can try if you can solve the problem by increasing the "borderless expand" setting.
