Re: custom .pfprofile for B&W
Hello, if you print both color and b&w photos, I recommend to print both the "Proof / Studio" and the "Black & White profile" chart. Please note that you need two profile order codes for the two profile measurements. Depending on the PrintFab license, one profile measurem...

Re: New system disk
The warning "Profile ID don't match" can be ignored. Here is the explanation what the warning means: When you print a profile chart, the profile id (= profile order code in our online shop) is stored for this profile entry. Later when importing the profile that was created by us, the profi...

Re: New system disk
You could check /usr/share/turboprint/profiles/profiles.lst You can see sections [Profile1001] Name="Your profile name" ... Printer="Epson_XP15000series" Config="XP15000series-TurboPrint" ... The line "Config=..." must specify the current CUPS print queue name...

Re: New system disk
If you can see the profiles in the "Profiles" dialog for TurboPrint Control, you should also see them in the GIMP print dialog ("File" -> "TurboPrint..."). Copying the profiles from a previous installation as described does not always work (e.g. if the print queues have...

Re: New system disk
Hello, the print queue definitions are stored in the file /etc/turboprint/turboprint.cfg, the profiles and page size definitions are located in the directory /usr/share/turboprint/profiles. You can backup "turboprint.cfg" and the contents of the directory "profiles" and restore o...

Re: only printing half of artwork
Of course the media size selected in your application must fit to the actual size of your paper/film. Otherwise it tries to center your document on the print media, i.e. shifts it down by 3.8 inches as visible in your print dialog. An easy fix would be to set the "Y" value in "Placing...

Re: only printing half of artwork
Hello, it looks as if the selected page size is longer than the film, so the bottom is cut off. Which page size did you select in the "Page setup" dialog and what is the size of the transparent film?

Re: Pixma Pro9500 max paper size?
Hello, I just checked and the maximum print size is actually 14"x26,21" / 355,6x676mm according to the Canon Windows driver, so the sizes in TurboPrint should be correct. I think paper which is 42cm wide will not fit into the printer.

Re: Problem with Epson L8050 when printing in paper roll
Hello, we were already discussing this problem by email last year. Roll printing on Epson EcoTank desktop printers is an experimental feature and there are limitations, because the Epson printer firmware does not officially support roll printing. We have no solution for this problem yet.
