pixma620 print quality settings change output size

With the print quality setting on high, printouts from any software are normal size. If I select medium quality (2400dpi) in transparency mode, all output is shrunk to half the height. Is this the case with all ubuntu machines connected to a pixma620 using turboprint? Is there a solution?

Working now! The correct settings had been picked up when I added the printer, and transferred them into turboprint. I now suspect simply a weak signal between the laptop/router/printer.

I'm running ubuntu 8.10 . MP620 works fine with wireless in vista. In Ubuntu, turboprint enables me to print from laptop over network, as long as mp620 is connected via usb to PC, which of course, must be switched on, to allow network printing. I want to use the wireless facility in the printer itse...
