Maybe the topic starter did not select one of the high-resolution papers or is not using the highest resolution (which indeed, iirc, is not default).
In that case the output can be described as dull, imho.

Zedonet photo paper
Dor the zedonet photo size (10x15) paper, what paper type to select in turboprint? There is only one type "zedonet" paper and it seems to refer to an a4 sized paper and also the weight differs. Should I still select it or use another?

Hi,
Using turboprint 1.9x I was able to load 10x15 photo paper, select 4"x6" (or 6"x4", I don't remember) paper size, then print a jpg that's landscape and then cups&turboprint would rotate the image automagically so the image would end up correctly on the (portrait sized) paper.
Using version 2.x ...
